|  |     Go to the back of the printer.  
    Power down and disconnect the e-net connector.
    Loosen the 2 flathead captive screws on each side of the e-net connector 
      area.
    Go to the front of the printer.
    Pull out the darker colored 1.5 inch plastic portion at the bottom, the 
      controller board is attached. (You may need to go loosen the screws a
      little more after you get it out a bit, I usually have to).
    
    You'll see the 3 simm slots on this board.  Higher memory capacity simms
    go toward slot 1 (for example - 8 meg in slot one, 4 meg in slot 2)
    You can put 3 - 8 meg in maximum, they must be 70ns simms.
    
    Other things to consider - If you are putting these in an older printer
    (300 dpi, version 1.2 or older) you can only use simms that have
    parity.  The newer printers (1.2 or above) can use either (parity or
    non-parity)
