    Well I would need another VCR to make tapes. What I meant by a video

    Video tape doesn't hold well thru the generations.  We'll need to 
    keep this as high-level as possible.  I was thinking, for those who
    can't attend whatever sort of taping event we have, we could send 3
    copies out on 3 mailing chains...that way we don't lose quality 
    through having too many generations.
    
    I have more to come, but we need to get this one over and done.

    Can Offer to do copies for Canadian Heads if I get a good copy. Have 2
    stereo Mitsu's available in HI-FI, with upgraded Monster cable for
    better sound and video.

    Probably will use 4 copies to seed this.  Hopefully, we will develop a
    good video taping system after this pilot.  
    
    I already have 2 copies, need 2 more, should be ready to roll early next 
    week.

    So, I'm ready to start working out a way to share this Boston, 9/22/91, 
    Set II video tape.
    
    I have a couple ideas.   
    
    1) Have a video taping party
    
    2) Have people who are lucky enough to have 2 VCR's branch for people
    
    3) Have Deane over for dinner and drinks and make copy
    
    
    Either way, I'm willing to seed 3 copies of this tape.

    for dinner and drinks...just bring your equipment (hey!,
    no rude comments ;-)

    ...but actually, I have heard that much gets lost in
    successive generations (not unlike audio), so maybe
    a taping party is the way to go?

    Found a video the other night that I taped in 1985 (I definitely was a
    cool kid).  Has some interviews with the Dead and some with Deadheads
    from Ventura Fairgrounds.
    
    One memorable moment shows Jerry, guitar in hand, slowly working his 
    way up a flight of outdoor stairs to get to the stage.  When he finally 
    gets to the top he meets up with Bobby who's hanging there with a bunch
    of gorgous women....Jerry looks at Bobby, then at the camera and yells
    "What in the f*ck is going on here!!!", then you hear Bobby and the
    women all going "All right Jerry, cool man!".
    
    It's halarious!  Must be seen.
