    PS: What I mean for you dudes and dudettes in Ma. and NH. is that I'm
    ouitta there! But not outta here... I'll be supporting the COMMSERVER
    Version 3.0 Release (which we just shipped) for some number of months
    from Albuquerque (I'll still be on TRLIAN:: logically; just not
    physically)

    	I'll jump in and display my ignorance here.... :^) Never
    particpated in a tree before, but if a branch is someone who can make 
    copies & send 'em to leafs, I'll be happy to do that, assuming my
    equipment is acceptable for the task.... It's a dual-deck JVC with 
    dbx/dolby C, not low-end by any means, but no Nakamichi.... If that will 
    work (it makes clean-sounding copies), and someone can let me know how the 
    tree works, I'll be happy to be a branch. I'm in Salem, NH.

         I personally don't have the "branch" capabilities but a
    friend of mine up near Sunapee, NH does......she trades with
    other tapeheads across the country. I could get her my copies,
    MAYBE she could make a couple or four copies to help out the
    other branches.....I'll get in touch with her and post a definite

    Help... I don't know anything about tape trees. I  have been a
    non-follower of this conference until last week, and I have not been a
    tape collector either. But now I very much want to begin a tape
    collection. 
    
    How does this work? Wht kind of equipment does one need? I have a Sharp
    cassette deck, one-tape only, although I'm sure I could borrow a deck
    from a friend if necessary...
    
    I'd appreciate any help in getting started. I always meant to, but I
    guess I thought the band would live forever...

    Ok this tree is now officially closed. I'll post the tree structure
    tomorrow - in the mean time figger on getting 3 x 90 and 1 x 100 minute
    tapes together. Branches will hear from me this afternoon and they
    should contact their leaves after the structure is posted to set up a
    system for getting blanks and returning the music. Looks like each
    branch will have 3-4 leaves. Not too bad - thanks for all who signed up
    to branch (it was a bit scarey there for a while!) Also a big thanks to
    rfb for seeding this thing!!!
