Whoops. The discography is over 2800 lines long, so rather than be shot by
decwindows notes users, here's a pointer:
SPICE::USER1:[PECKAR]DISC.OGRAPHY

with no success. Should I be looking somewhere else for this
    material?

or file protection violation" error message when I try to copy.

| | Thanks, Fog. Wow! That discography is comprehensive!

I'd like to solicit some help on something. When we were kidz, we
listened to what we called "the skeleton album." When ordering from
Noteworthy, I couldn't remember the name of the album, and guessed
incorrectly that it was "Steal Your Face" (which I received in my
    order). The "skeleton album," I
remember, had great versions of Mama Tried, Playin' and Bertha. From
the discography, it looks like this is "Skull and Roses."

    My questions -

Am I correct? Is "the skeleton album" Skull and Roses?

Should I hang on to SYF? What songs are on it? (All I can see without
breaking the shrink wrap are the disk 2 cuts.) For reference, I'm not
into spending my $$ just to have everything the Dead ever created. I'm
looking for some of their better/best stuff.

    Thanks,
    Bill

| | Yep, that's the one. A gatefold LP with the famous Stanley Mouse skull
    and roses artwork.

I'd recommend returning SYF. Even Dead freaks have been known to call
    it "Steal Your Money."

Oh come, come now! It has some great pictures of the Wall of Sound inside the
album jacket! ;-)
