| I spent way too many hours moving ITMB's stage full of hardware back in
the the early '70's. ("After you load the 8 SVT cabs can you help me
with the B3?")
The keyboard player was Micky Spiros, and Bobby Lichtenfeld(?) was on
drums. I haven't seen them in years.

| I saw the ITMB in the late 70's early 80's and they were outstanding.
i believe Joe Pet of Berlin Airlift/Luna fame was the drummer. you may
want to check some of the used record shops in Harvard Sq (Mystery
Train,Second Comin) or try Central Sq.

..ahh, the 70's....sex, drugs, and R & R....

Used to make it a point to go to the Buttercup whenever Celebration
was playing. They did some decent Yes covers, but in those days
I wasn't there for the music; Celebration seemed to have many female
fans :-) They did the glitz thing pretty well.....remember that part
of the set included having everyone sitting on the dance floor
in front of the band....passing around sticks so folks could keep
time along with the band...big smoke show with that greasy feel/smell
to it....somehow they seemed "bigger" than a local band. Can't help
with any tapes, but I do thank you for the memories.

| Boy, did you bring back some memories - especially
the Mohawk but The Buttercup was my favority hangout
before it burned down.
Haven't heard about either of these 2 groups in a long
time. I wouldn't mind seeing them again if these groups
still exist.

(not the one near Fenway), down in Warwick R.I. It burned down

Unfortunately, both bands are out of commission. ITMB broke up late
70's, early 80's. Celebration seemed to just disappear. Individual
players probably went on to play in other bands. Because I was not a
native to New England, I never had a chance to follow groups members.
That is why I am looking to find anyone who might have tapes, etc of
these groups to hear them again.
Anyway .... seems like the good bands leave burned down establishments!
Really enjoy reading from those of you who remembered these 2 groups in
particular. Have a friend Anthony Coppola who was the sound person for
ITMB. He works for Digital now. Will try and get him to contribute to
this notes file. Appreciate everyone's input. Keep rocking!!
