What - no Tony Bennett note ?!?
The guy has just released 3 CD's - "Something", "I Wanna Be Around",
and "Who Can I Turn To" - just last week.
I like the guy, but he's causing confusion in my life. (OK - the real
problem is not that I'm a fan of his, but that my Mom-InLaw likes him,
and asked for the "new Tony Bennett CD" for a birthday present).
So - for those of you in the know - what's the story on these new CDs ?
Are any of them re-releases (they don't appear to be so) or
compilations ? I couldn't get any clues from the CDNow web site, nor
from Noteworthy, and there isn't a alt.music.tony-bennett newsgroup to
surf.

Why do you ask ?
The name Mercedes comes from the daughter of Daimler's best racing
customer around the turn of the century, and Daimler used it as the
name for his autmobile line (probably to flatter the wealthy bastard
into buying more cars). Daimler and Benz joined forces sometime before
WWII to become Daimler-Benz, and Mercedes Benz is just the name of the
present automobile division of DB. Or something like that.
My wife does look something like Mercedes Roul (sp?), but she's not
from the Bronx (or wherever), and she does have node name MRCDES::
Maybe someday we'll name a dog Mercedes, 'Sadie' for short.
