Any Michael Penn fans out there?
he has a new album coming out, and will be playing Avalon on Sept. 29th
for the FNX 9th birthday bash . . .
I thoroughly enjoyed his debut, although I do find I have to be in a
paticular mood to like some of the cuts. Brave New World, however, I
can listen to anytime, anywhere, and love it.

I picked up Penn's latest "Free-for-All" this weekend. This is a very
good disc. Not a bad cut on it. Heavy rhythms (his trademark), great
harmonies, and superb production. I can't rave enough about this
release.
Penn is rapidly turning into one of my favorite singer-songwriters.
