| I've heard a couple of their tunes and have liked them both. They
are in the process of putting out a full blown album. The ep's
popularity has caused them to try to expedite the release so they
can capitalize on their current popularity.

| The only song I've heard by this band is "Hate Everything About You".
If the other songs are like this song, then I am grateful it is the
only one I've heard. Their single is as nasty as it gets and with no
apparent purpose. I hate you, I hate your father, I hate this, I hate
that... WGaS?
This band should grow up, learn to play, and get back to me when they
can write lyrics that have at least a modicum of social value. Until
then, my opinion of them is reflected in their song title.

in your heart to like these guys.

The only thing I dont like is the sound quality , sounds like the
vocals were really trashed on some tunes. I do agree however this
tape isnt as good as it could be, sounds like it was rushed.

| Wendy, I've got a life, even an almost Ugly Joe whatever free-life,
that I like just fine, thank you. If you want to "educate" me in regard
to this band, then certainly send me a tape. I promise I'll listen to it,
although I won't promise my mind will change (although, stranger things
have happened). For now, my mail stop is MLO5-2/U13, but you better
send that tape fast as I may be gone in a matter of days...
And Pete ... I won't admit I hate heavy metal because I don't (and
*why* do you say that? Just because I don't participate in the HM
conference or something?). Of course, you and I have a slightly
different opionion of what constitutes "heavy metal", mostly centering
around the fact that I'm at least a bit older than you and grew up with
a slightly different view of this genre. Either way, I think you have
the wrong impression.
And speaking of wrong impressions, that's what I might have gotten from
the song they're playing on the radio from the band in question. I
really don't like that song; it does strike me as being kinda nasty.
Being the one and only UJK song I've heard, I admit it's not much of a
barometer... but you know what they say about first impressions.

They are basicly a Scatterbrain clone. Scatterbrain is a band that
does humorous songs with many styles of music drawn into to their
music.

| Just for the info, Ugly Joe Kid recorded that EP in one day. They were
just trying to make it like every other band but with one difference,
THEY DID!
Looking forward to a real production.
