| | I used CVS Paving in the fall for some driveway work. They were one
of the few that even returned my call. Their crew was kinda wild
and they could have been better prepared, but all in all, they patched
    what I needed patched.

| | I would recommend Erla Construction in Merrimack. I've had experience
with other contractors (not mentioned in above notes), but ERLA was the
    best.

| | I had excellent service and results a couple of years back from Peters
Paving in Hudson. Good rates, superbly careful service. They tore out
my old driveway and put in a new one, including complete subsurface
    prep.

I have a bed of creeping phlox right next to the driveway. I solicited
bids from three contractors. Two told me I'd lose the bed; I shouldn't
count on saving anything within a foot of the driveway. Peters told me
it was no sweat. And they were as good as their word - the farthest
outside the actual path of the driveway that any damage was done was
    about two inches.
