                       Franconia Notch Offers Free Day
    New Hampshire residents are invited on a free visit to the state parks'
    flagship Franconia Notch State Park on Sunday, June 15.
    With a proof of residency, there will be free aerial tram rides from 9
    a.m. to 4:30 pm. which will take visitors to the summit of Cannon
    Mountain.
    Also free will be visits to the Flume Gorge and Visitor Center from 9
    a.m. to 5 p.m. and Echo Lake Beach from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    Other park attractions that are always free are The Basin, Boise Rock,
    the 8-mile paved recreation path and viewing of the Old Man of the
    Mountain.
    The state offers a recreational vehicle park at Echo Lake for $24 a
    site, complete with three-way hook-up, and Lafayette Campground at $14
    a site.
