Anyone been to Mt. Snow lately?
It looks like there is an X on the runway, even though the runway has
been plowed and is lighted, and there are no NOTAMs regarding landing
restrictions (its still listed in the latest AFD).

Mount Snow has historically been a tricky place to go into
in the colder months. The winds are more challenging and
folks seem to regularly crunch there. The owners might
be X-ing the runway to keep away the transients who typically
come to grief. Kind of "if you have to ask, don't".
Also, the recent weather might have left the runway well
iced, in spite of being plowed. If the AFD has a phone
number, a telephone call might answer the question. Or
try calling information to get the airport phone number.
Y'all be carefull!
