My son is a TIGER CUB. Tiger Cubs are the 1st grade version of Cub
    Scouts. We meet monthly.

January 19th is my turn to entertain our merry little group of 6 boys.
Unfortunately I'll miss Christmas. We could have made dough ornaments
    or something.

My son wants to do something at the house aas opposed to going bowling
or out to visit a museum or something.

I was thinking of early valentines gifts for the parents. Maybe deco-
rated pencil holders from juice cans and decorated peanut butter jars
filled with candies. I was also thinking of baking cupcakes from
scratch and decorating them with M+M's and colored frostings etc.

What would you do with six 6 year old boys in the middle of January?

By the way, I'm going to enjoy this as much as my son is.

Our Tiger den has done several crafts projects. They made puppets out
of felt and t-shirt decorating pens, they sewed Halloween ghosts
out of fabric, batting and thread and made racecars from a kit sold at
the Boy Scout store. My son has received a patch for each of these for
    his sash.

The cupcake decorating got REALLY messy - also they meet at 4:30pm -so
all the sweet stuff at dinner time was rough.
