I did a dir/title=muppet with no luck, so I'll start a Muppet movie
note here. Anybody else see GMA today and retain more of the info??!

Anybody know anything about the *3D* Muppet movie due out soon? It was
discussed on Good Morning America this A.M. (but I was sleepwalking at
the time) and what I think I heard was that the Disney/Henson estate
negotiations have been completed, so the 3D movie will be released
soon. Preview audiences were interviewed... they loved it, of
course... shots of kids turning around in their seats, convinced that
some of the action was going on *behind* them! Apparently there's a
fireworks display... A Disney/Henson interviewee said that Jim H.
liked to have 10 things going on at once so there'd always be something
new to notice if you saw the film over & over.
Anybody lucky enough to have been in a (the?) preview audience? I
can't wait!

I believe the 3-d muppet movie is the one that opened at Disney's
MGM studio theme park in Florida. There is discussion about it
in the Disney notesfile.

| "Kermit the Frog Presents Muppet*Vision 3D" opened a couple of weeks
ago at Walt Disney World in Florida. According to the terms of the
settlement of a lawsuit between the Disney and Henson organizations,
this is the ONLY place it will be shown. (The original plans were for
it to be playing at Disneyland in California as well).
There is much discussion of Disney and the Muppets in the Disney
conference (CLOSET::DISNEY) note 137.*. Reviews of Muppet*Vision 3D by
DECies that have actually seen it begin about 137.50.
