I live in Marlboro and am looking for a nice ocean/lake to
bring my eight month old daughter. I haven't really tried
anywhere in this area so I am looking for recommendations for
places which are clean and not to far in distance.

Thanks in advance for your replies,

    Mary

I live in Marlboro as well, we live off of Hosmer Street ( don't know
if you are familiar with it (near Dunkin Donuts). Well theres a nice
lake there, I only live 2 min. away from it, and I always take my son
there. Lakes name is Memorial Beach and right arcross from it is
the Hudson Lake side which is Centenial Beach. If you prefer something
more recreational theres Hopkinton State Park which I beleive it's
on Rt. 85 ?(someone correct me if I'm wrong).

    Good Luck!!

| Also in Marlboro: there's a wonderful (giant) wading pool operated by
the town behind a grammar school not too far from downtown.
Absolutely fantastic for the little folk. Also, there's plenty of
shady grassy area for folks like me.

That would be Hildreth School, off of Church Street. I should know -
    I'm a "graduate" of Hildreth!
