distribution tommorow, that tells me it's almost "end of the summer".

| Well, I guess I'd better fess up to letting my "cruise director"
responsibilites slide... Yes, originally the picnic was planned
for June 30th - then we decided on "the end of the summer" with
Aug. 18th and 25th as tentative dates. Well, the 18th has come
and gone, but the 25th is still left, right? How about Silver
Lake in Hollis, N.H., 11:00 am, and bring your own lunch??? It's
O.K. if we don't have a big, formal thing. One problem, though...
Bruce is away on vacation. I, for one, have been *dying* to meet
him. So come on if you can - if you've got no plans. It doesn't
matter if there are only a few of us, or if there are many. I've
been to Silver Lake a few times this year and it really is quite
nice. Adults are $2.50 and children are free. Enough interest
for me to post directions?

| I can't be there but I too would love to meet everyone. If you have it,
PLEASE take a group picture, and a group picture of the kiddos if that is
even possible. I'll pay for someone to develop (and enlarge) it, and please
label who is who!!!!

| Anybody else going (she asks nervously)?? Telephone weather report is
fairly noncommittal - cloudy, humid (I can deal with that), showers
(but they don't specify frequency or duration).
*sigh* Alexandra and I cleared our respective calendars and will try
to make the pilgrimage. Kathryn, where are you? Where are the
directions?! We'll have a Nikon and tripod (I have to justify my
personal name SOMEhow) and we'll log on at 9:00 or so tomorrow to see
if ANYONE ELSE will be there for the group shot!
Kristen, Jodi, do we all get snapshots of you by return post?! Only
hoping... I wish I had a rogues gallery of all the noters I read...

| Well, looks like I blew it again. I left at about 5:00 on Friday
and didn't get to log in to see your note, Leslie. Saturday really
stunk although Sunday might have been nice. Maybe your idea about
planning something for the fall will work. Who knows, maybe these
things just aren't meant to be???

| I was on vacation last week so I was so upset to see it almost
