Last spring Pine Hill Waldorf School (in Wilton, NH) was visited for three days by a reporter from _Teacher Magazine_, who attended classes and spoke at length with many of our teachers. You can imagine how delighted we were to find Pine Hill on the front cover of the October issue, with one of the best articles on Waldorf Education I've ever read. If you're interested, you can find the complete text of the article on the Web at <http://www.jlc.net/~faiman/waldorf_way.html>. -Neil

What is Waldorf education? Could you elaborate on it without my going
into the web to read the article. How much is the tuition there. I
have a 14 yr. old in the Amherst school system, that is very artsy and
creative and I'm looking for a school that she would fit into. Amherst
stresses lots of homework and regimentation, which I do not agree with
for all students. Aren't there two private schools in Wilton?
Thanks in advance,
Bruce

> Any other pointers to info on Waldorf education...list of schools etc ? There are some Waldorf education discussions in MOIRA::PARENTING_V3, topic 35. On the WWW, take a look at the Waldorf Education FAQ: http://www.io.com/~lefty/Waldorf_FAQ.html and the Directory of Waldorf Schools in North America: http://www.io.com/user/karisch/waldir.html There is also a Waldorf education mailing list (only for those with lots of space in their mailboxes!) -- to subscribe, send E-mail to [email protected], with the following line in the *body* (not the subject) of your message: SUBSCRIBE WALDORF your-first-name your-last-name (To unsubscribe from the list, send mail to the same address with the following line in the message body: SIGNOFF WALDORF ) | |||||
