We purchased a spa last fall from Quist Bros. in West Boylston. They
buy the spa shell and do all the plumbing themselves and then place the
jets exactly where you want them. You actually sit in the shell in
their shop and tell them where each one should be located. We're very
happy with the setup. The materials that they use (pumps, control pack,
spa shell, etc.) are all name brand and of high quality. Compared to
the Sundance equivalent that we were going to buy, this spa was close
    to $1K less.

Things to look for in your spa:

    1. Don't go crazy with an exhorbitant number of jets, you'll find that
in most cases a minimum number is all that's needed. If the sales
people try to push more on you, it's only because they make more
       money on a larger quantity.

    2. Get multiple pumps so that you can "turn on" only half the spa or
all of it depending on the number of people in it at any given time.

    3. I highly recommend the Nature 2 system in addition to ozone. The
water quality is excellent with this system and uses a minimum
amount of chemicals which leave no odor or unpleasant feeling on
your skin. In fact, you feel like you've stepped out of the shower
       after you're done.

    4. Make sure that the spa comes with a "blanket" that floats on top of
the water under the hard cover. It's basically bubble packing material
that adds an additional layer of insulation between the water
       surface and the cover.

    5. Check the warranty from the different manufacturers. We found quite
a difference depending on who you were talking to.

That's about all I can think of right now. If you have any specific
    questions, send them along.
