[mod - even though this is a related to fleas topic,
it's a bit different, but feel free to move it else
where!]
I heard recently that a very diluted solution (don't know
the proportions) of Avon's Skin-so-Soft and water works
wonders as flea repellent ON DOGS - haven't heard about
cats.
Wellie being an outdoor-by-day boat cat brings home FLEAS!
I combed him out nightly, plus the whole flea routine as
covered extensively in other notes.
has anyone tried this on their cats?

A friend tried this on her cat. Didn't work that well for her
but then nothing really worked for her until she moved out
of San Jose and into Morgan Hill. Her cats live in an enclosure
outside now and haven't had a flea since.
Anyway, I remember their coats looking pretty greasy for a while.
That's when she had put the Skin-so-Soft on them. It might work
on fleas but it doesn't do much for their fur. 'Course, if you've
got a bad flea problem and this works for you, you probably wouldn't
care if they looked a bit greasy. :^)

I'd be careful that it wouldn't hurt them when they ingest it!
Not sure what's in it, but I'd ask a vet just in case.
