    I've been contacted by Patty Caya who writes for the Lowell Sun.
    She is looking for stories of how cats have effected relationships.
    Examples she gave were:
    
         Allergies to a pet caused problems
         Partner hated the pet..or pet hated the partner
         A child's pet caused problems with a parent dating
    
    She is looking for people in Mass. willing to talk about this
    subject. You can contact her at 603 886-8211. If you'd rather save
    money on a long distance call you can send me mail and I'll let

    This is a test story for her to get a full time job at the Sun. She
    didn't get to choose the subject and is finding this a hard subject

	I wish she'd look for stories with a more positive slant; like people who met and lived happily ever after because of a pet, or people who became pet lovers because of their partner's affection for animals, etc. But these days it seems that good news is no news... len.

	Len...I was thinking the same thing and then I thought a story could be "how cats have effected a relationship positively". If she would like info on that...I'd be happy to participate!!! 	Sandy, so true ;-) Rose and I sometime joke about this, and I know for the cats sake whatever indifferences we might have will have to be overlooked. I just cannot imagine separating them. Or live without them or take them away from the rest of the family. Shaw

	I spoke with Patty a couple of days ago and we had a really nice talk. She is sending a staff photographer over to our house tomorrow. She found it interesting that I keep so many cats even tho I have allergies. We did turn it into a good thing I think. Anyway I will watch the papers later in the week to see how it all comes out.
