| | the skin and fur can become an intestinal blockage if swallowed in big
chunks...the cat is responding to the "leather", which is actually
skin...I would not recommend allowing your cat to eat these things.
Better to buy a cat toy that cannot be eaten for your cat to play with.

| | One of mine does the same thing with the furry mice - he'll play with
it then drag it off to a secret place and proceed to chew the furr off
it. What we find is the plastic shell and the eyes and ears. We've
been keeping a close eye on him and snatch it up when he starts to walk
away with it. I'm sick of furr vomit and I'm sure he is too.

| | My Tabby used to do this. Everytime I went up to the gift shops in
the White Mtns. I would have to bring a rabbits foot home for him.
He would savagely growl and attack it, until there was nothing but
shreads left. I only let him play with undyed natural ones. I don't
know about now, but 15-17 years ago, the dyed ones would run if they
got covered with cat drool. He never ate any of it, just crunched
those little rabbit foot bones,........well he enjoyed it, what can you
    say.

Korats *know* it! I constantly have to hunt for my
car keys, because they open my purse to get the keychain! (:

| | I thought this was about the feet of cats and not real rabbits feet
that are used for keychains. Ugh...

Though since this is noted as Rabbits Feet I did want to mention that I
think Anastacia is part Rabbit. Her hind legs are like rabbits and a
friend of mine told me she leaped like a rabbit. Maybe I should have
    named her Bugs........
