Does anyone own a CD of Dire Straits' first album that does *not* have a truncated version of "Sultans of Swing"? Warner Brothers used the 7-inch version of the song on the CD: Just when Mark Knopfler's final lead solo is about to climax, the pots are lowered. There was about 5 seconds of climactic music left, and the dumbo recording engineers decide that a fade-out would add a nice touch! Does the UK issue of this CD contain the full-length LP-version of the track?

| I bought the Vertigo CD when it first came out and it has
the truncated version as well. I have heard (but have no
confirmation) that more recent pressings of both the Vertigo
and Warner CD's have the full cut.
