Power Windows is a lot more like Signals than it is like Grace Under
Pressure. I took a LONG time to learn to like Grace Under Pressure,
and it is still my least favorite Rush album.

Power Windows doesn't bear any real resemblance to anything Rush
did before Permanent Waves. The album was produced by a guy named
Peter Collins, who appears to be a lot easier to get along with
than Peter Henderson, who produce Grace Under Pressure.

I'd say give Power Windows a shot, particularly on CD. My favorites
    are "Grand Designs" and "Territories"

| | There's an awful lot to like about Power Windows. For one it's
    DDD [Digital Recording/Mixing/Mastering].

A lot of emphasis has been put into production techniques. I sometimes
think you can't get a more polished sound then 'Mystic Rhythms'
because it all blends in sooooooo nicely.

The general consensus of the Rush fans I hang around is:

Signals - Real departure in the direction of keyboards
Grace Under Pressure - Almost an overreaction to get back to the
    			   guitars
Power Windows - A near perfect mix of the two styles [ie: Big Money]

My personal favorites on P.W. are:
    	Marathon
    	Territories
    	Manhattan Project
    	Mystic Rhythms
    	Big Money

[Ooops! That's practically the whole thing!]

I find that by handling the disks by the edges to avoid putting
fingerprints on the surface, and always return a played disk
to its jewel box immediately, I don't need to clean mine.

I have a disk cleaning kit, just in case (used it once or twice),
but if the disk is clean, don't clean it.

I find all (every single one) of Rush's CD's GREAT!!!!

Of course I am biased since I lived in Toronto for a few years and
had the privilege of seeing their live performances in front of
    their home crowd.

I find their music and Neil's lyrics very intelligent.
