      Does anyone have any knowledge about a TEAC AD-7 Cassette/CD Player?
    I have a chance to pick one up for $450, list= $999.  I've had real
    good luck with TEAC tape units in the past, but I don't know anything
    about their CD's.

	I don't know what's in the TEAC AD-7, but the TEAC PD-11 contains the same player as in my Yamaha CD-X1. The one a friend of mine has also has the same defect I found (and had repaired) in my CD-X1 with serious skipping on OMD's Crush. /john
