    from!

This is a serious note, honest.

| | Greg,
you could try Tower records - they can usually get most *things* .
BUT, coming from Glasgow, I dont know if there is a Tower shop your way.
If you do manage to source a copy, please let me know where you got it -
I love all his old films and the eukal (banjo type thing)!!

| | re-1 - I think you mean ukelele? Some of Georges classic movies have
been on tv recently, and one today I think also?

You obviously don't look in the same places as I do! Try
going to Boots, or Woolworths or somewhere similar. Look for
the section marked "Easy Listening" or "Bargain Buys" or
"Special Purchase" and I reckon you'll stand a good chance of
finding a George Formby recording. I always seem to :-(

If you're really lucky they'll be in alphabetical order, in
which case look between "Gracie Fields" and "Foster & Allen".

BTW, I tried this approach at lunchtime, and found a copy of
GF's 20 Greatest Hits in W.H.Smug's on cassette for 3.55.

        Re Films:

Not sure what today's film is, but I know that "Spare A
Copper" is on next week. "No Limit", the one where he rides
in the Isle of Man T.T., is by far the best.
