Hi all,
Need some help with a famous cover tune from early 70's. The
million dollar question is, Did the Trogs ( you know, the band
that sang Wild Thing!!) every do a version of 'Love That Dirty
Water'??? The Standell's did the original version but I think
the Trogs did one as well.
A few quid riding on the answer!!! Thanks!!!!

Don't know about the Troggs, but the Inmates did a version in the 70s (didn't they?) Paul | |||||

Dirty Water is really standard fare for sixties-oriented garage/R&B
bands. I think I recall the Count Bishops doing a Standells song, but I
don't remember if it was Dirty Water or another one.

I have a lot of Troggs LPs and have never seen a Troggs' "Dirty Water".
