Glad you like it. I think it's cloud8 you've got; from the LP "Ray".
(If you plan to buy this, see if you can get the ltd. edtn. CD - it's got an
extra CD (called "the baby album") with remixes of LP tracks (including Cloud8))
This is assuming, of course, it's available in the US.
There were 3 other singles from Ray (apart from Cloud8):
	Nothing (Remixes VERY housey)

Walking On Air (Unfortunatly, the one-and-only naff Frazier track)

Heaven (And it seems your eternal reward, is to hang around heaven
		eternally bored)

| 978.5 | Everything you always wanted to know about Frazier Chorus....nearly | MOVIES::WHITE |  | Fri Feb 21 1992 14:00 | 39 |
| | You missed out there, me old mucka! When I saw the Cocteaus, Dif Juz were
the support: I think they WERE the CTs w/out Lizzie. Heyyyy..... wait a
minute....Cocteau Twins are on 4AD, right?
OK. Here's what I know about Frazier Chorus:
Not much. Except that they're brilliant.
They're English, (but try not to hold that against them!) with two albums that
I know about: "Sue" (released '88) and "Ray" (released '90), both on Virgin
records.
Their style is kinda hard to pin down - the Beloved? Black? Very synthy, anyway.
But the reason you listen to them is for Tim Freemans lyrics: I haven't heard
better. Observant, wry, sinister, dreamy, mundane.....you really do have to
listen to them to appreciate the range.
Sue had two singles lifted (methinks):
Dream Kitchen....It's just that there was I - pretending I was tied
to the kitchen sink - and I thought: "This stuff's
so kind to my hands, I'm never going to change to a
			 different brand"
Sloppy Heart	The only song I know to use the word "squishy". CD
single has a version of Anarchy In the UK on it!
		 	VERY different.
Ray was a lot more "comercial" in its musical sound (Paul Okenfold mixes and
stuff)
Next album due? Haven't a clue, but if it's anything like the last two, it'll
be a STONKER!
Jer.
p.s. Sorry for being really stupid Jan, but who's Tony Bird?

    Jer...

Who Tony Bird iszzzz ;) ?????

    ME! hahahahaha,stupid huh? yup....me.
My DJ name, and has been for the last 20 years.
I got this name for tax purposes back in 1972 when they took me on
as a DJ for a pirate radio station named Radio Northsee Int. And"they"
were Alen West,Andy Archer,Tony Prince. Most of the time I did the
RNI drive-in-show on land in Holland,Belgium and sometimes Germany.
August '74 the fun ended due to governmental interference so I tried
solliciting at legal national radio stations, but the black mark I got
working for a pirate station did not help me make that step-over.
My dutch colleagues who worked for the dutch side of RNI all had succes.
Have had a load of bad luck(well, I had my fair share)not becoming a radio
man. There's still a little grief within me not to have had the help in
a succesfull hop-over to other stations so I had to take the job DEC
gave me 15 years ago.I gues that this schidzoid situation is not doing
    me good.

Sorry for letting myself go. ;)
