How about a note for the best soundtracks in the 80's? Here it is!
Repo Man
Valley Girl
Earth Girls are Easy
Revenge of the Living Dead
Pretty in Pink
Should have been a soundtrack:
Crimes of Passion
| T.R | Title | User | Personal Name | Date | Lines |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|

Betty Blue (one of the best ever, IMHO)
Bagdad Cafe (great naration on side two, title song superb too)
Apocalypse Now ("****, I'm still only in Saigon")
Midnight Express (Georgio M. version)
Soundtrack albums have certainly changed a lot in the 80's. Either
they seem to help songs take off as singles, or the other way round.
One way for Hollywood to get better box office returns, perhaps??
Soundtracks are also pretty collectable, as many are deleted quite
soon after release. There's a place in Leeds called Movie Boulevard
(naff name), that specialises in 'em.
Agree with .1 about Repo Man - very good indeed.
David
PS: Great to be back!

Just realised, that the latter two in the previous note, were in
the late 70's (right) ....... but, hell, who cares!
