Another request for info note -
I recently bought the album "Taming the Blade" by a band
called "Sideway Look", tremendous stuff, I want more!, and
the sleeve notes say this is their third album, but does
not name the other two.
The band are from Central Scotland, supposedly brilliant live
and the albums would have been out around '84-'86.

i saw sideway look at Glasgow Uni a few years ago.It wasnt really
my taste but i knew their sound engineer thru working with
other bands.I dont know much about them but if you want i
could find out,i`ve a few friends in the biz.

I tried a coupla record shops in Glasgow when I was back in June,
but they didn't even have 'Taming..'
I noticed this a lot while I was in Munich, the CD shop I used
(WOM) had a MUCH wider selection than I've seen in the UK,
perhaps because they make a lot of the CD's in Germany? e.g.
I have an album 'Cat Among the Pigeons' by 'Roaring Jack' sort
of Australian/Scottish version of the Pogues (but better!), and
a friend tried to get it in the UK, no chance.
