Hi,
I'm lookin for any info on YELLO the group that just surfaced
in the charts with "The race",I have known of them for a couple
of years and have a few cd's of them.
o How long have they been goin
o Any one seen them live
Any info appreciated,

Well, I haven't seen them live, but apparently they're very good
considering they use a lot of tapes and sequencers. A new album,
`The Flag' is due out soon(ish) and is meant to be a return to the
original raw Yello sound, as Deiter Meiyer (The vocalist of the two,
I think that's how you spell his name) said that their last records
were getting too planned out. Strange thing for a totally synthetic
group to say, but you can tell the difference between earlier stuff
like `Claro Que Si' and recent albums like `One Second'.
I'd recommend Yello to anybody. Living proof that boppy doesn't
mean bland. If anybody actually want's to take up my recommendation
then I suggest the compilation album `80-85 in one go'

Well, not really, but from what I can remember theres:

80-85 in one go
and soon, the new album, `The Flag'
The singles `The Race', `Oh yeah' and one that they did with Shirley
Bassey which name escapes me now are all available on CD single
as well.
