Slightly off what is meant as the main tone of this topic but, can
someone tell me the difference between this Wembley gig and the
recent weekend stint at Milton Keynes?

Why are, all of a sudden, the 'big boys' playing this gig when only
a few weeks ago they were struggling to get anyone of any major
    importance on the bill?

Is this one being televised I ask myself????

Is it because Wembley has a bigger crowd capacity?

Look at what the Mandela gig did for Tracy Chapman.....

    I wont be there.................

    Tommy.

Err, hum ...... dunno the answer, but this whole troupe is touring
the world - Gabriel and Sting playing all the dates. I believe
that they've been setting this up for some time now. I hope to
make it, and reckon it could be a good gig, although I'm gettin'
fed up of Wembley - I'll have more caps than Bobby Charlton soon!!

Tracey Chapman's LP sold 12,000 copies the Monday after the Mandela
    gig!!

    David.
