    D.B. Sweeney is the star of the show. This is on Friday nites
    on Fox 25 at 8:00 just before The X Files.  
    
    The premise is, Sweeney was the only survivor in a plane crash
    when he was a little boy...Since that time (he's 30 yrs old now)
    he has REALLY strange luck...good and bad... He finds himself
    in Extremely Bizarre situations...I'll let someone else
    try to explain it...   further into the story after undergoing
    hypnosis..finds out he has an older brother that is supposedly
    alive because the brother was  n e v e r  on the plane..(his
    mother and sister were and they died in the crash, DB was the
    only survivor)
    
    I thought the show had a pretty good premiere. I'll defintely
    keep watching it.  Especially liked the way they filmed him
    taking pictures while plummeting to the ground with the "jumper" 
    and then the shooting of the 2 policeman with the killers car 
    standing straight up! near the bridge before exploding...terrific 
    effects to this very different show!!!!!!  Should do ALOT better than VR5.
    
    
    Has the same feel as the eerie X Files....Loved it!

	I forgot to add, his characters name is Chance Harper, and he is a freelance photographer....there is a small diner that he frequents and the waitress character is played by Frances Farmer (Clint Eastwoods girlfriend)

	I also enjoyed this show. I've been a fan of Sweeney's for a long time (his portrayal of Shoeless Joe Jackson in "Eight Men Out" was spectacular), and he doesn't disappoint here. However, the series depends less on him than it does on the writers, who I feel must decide shortly if this show is to be a pure fantasy or have some basis in reality. There is the possibility of turning this from the believable to the fantastic. Seems to me it will be much more difficult to keep the writing believable. Hope they don't succumb and choose the easy path. I also liked the shrink and how she worked with Chance. Hope she continues to be a part of the show. Chance's boss, whose name I can't remember, was the title character in the classic movie "Cherry 2000", that starred Melanie Griffith. NAZZ PS - Frances Fisher is Clint's ex. According to something I read over the weekend, they broke up last November.

	I liked this one a lot also. I will watch it. Good spooky Friday line-up... "Strange Luck", "The X-Files", "Nowhere Man" (7, 8, and 9pm respectively) on Fox 21 in Colorado Springs.

	.4 I watched the second Strange Luck and was a little more than dissappointed......it was predictable..and Thats a killer... I also liked the Shrink..she was good and I liked the segment in the 1st one that he was on the plane as he is now, comforting himself as a boy Speaking of line ups- Strange Luck, X-Files and American Gothic (on channel 4) THIS scared me ...anyone see it? I'll start a note if there isn't one.

	I too was disappointed in the second episode. Is this a case of the pilot being the best they could do and the rest of the shows not able to match its level of success? Since I like D.B. Sweeney, I'll give it two more weeks. NAZZ

	Did anyone see the latest? Chance's good & bad luck transfers over to the Waitress after a pregnant customer, comes into the diner ready to deliver and her and Chance end up delivering the baby in the Diner, then after that the story goes on to include a potatoe that looks like Elvis, and a young girl that the waitress knows being in a gang that shot and killed a young kid right infront of Angie(waitress...is that her name?) so now the gang is after the her...there was a little kissing between Chance and the Waitress....This show has turned into a big D U D..... I really like DB Sweeney but...

	Spectacular episode Friday. This show continues to get solid scripts, and a tremendous acting job by D.B. Sweeney. I like the way the show balances itself between the "no way that could happen" and the "can this show get any more boring" points of view. The last several scripts have been entertaining, witty, and almost believable, a tough combination to get correct. NAZZ

	Any idea what was meant/implied at the end, where Chance promised to come back and tell them how it turned out, and the lady said "You'd better" under her breath and all the neighbors gathered on camera in an ominous way???

	Anyone see the Jan 5th episode....It was ok until the Healer was trying to convince Chance or US that He was the healer of the blind man and subsequently his own mother...but we knew better anyhow The mother realy seemed like she couldn't act at ALL.... thats when I thought again ..this show really is going nowhere.man... this week Jan 12th is also going to be a repeat Why repeats already? If DB Sweeney was not in this I wouldn't bother with this DUD anymore

	I was a bit disappointed with the Jan. 5 show also, but I certainly don't think it's a dud at all. This was the first of their shows I've seen that wasn't top quality, and the only reason I didn't enjoy it as much was that it was way too predictable, especially the side plot with Chance's parents. Overall, this is an excellent lead-in to X-Files and a show definitely worth watching. NAZZ

	ARGH!!!! Another very good show with style, class, and intelligence gets the axe. I wish the network bigwigs would learn that good shows that require the audience to think a little bit usuall take time to find that audience. NAZZ

	Out of habit, I sat down at 8:00 and actually watched off and on Sliders....what a DOG...it was then, and is now, PLUS they are showing repeats!! They must think we are total IDIOTS.... I want Strange Luck back ..like right now! SO now we are back to only 1 good show X files...no more American Gothic or Strange Luck and I for one am disgusted... I'm heading for the video store or the Cinema.
