    	I got a book in the mail the other day called "Unsold TV Pilots",
    	which lists/describes series pilots that either never aired or
    	aired and never took off as series.  It also lists cast members
    	[I assume the cast from the pilot, not projected cast for the
    	series].
    
    	If I have time I'll bring it in and post some of the highlights.
    
    	But in the meantime, any that stick out in your mind as having
    	potential, even if they never really "took off"?

I can think of a few shows in the last couple of years where you would get 
to see 5-6 episodes and then no more.  It's really disappointing when you 
find a show you enjoy and then it's gone.  A couple of the ones I liked were 
"The Long Road Home" (last year - with Terrence Knox, Francis S...??, 
Alex ???/the guy who plays in all the Desparado movies, and the chick from 
the first Raiders movie - Karen something??? - as you can see I'm not too 
good with names!)  Anyhow, it was about a family who had gone to North 
Carolina to spend the summer with the grandparents - reminded me of Prince 
of Tides.  Another show was "Class of 96" with Jason Gedrick - thought there 
was good potential there and a much more realistic portrayal of university 
life than say BHills.  And one other that I used to love was "Homefront"- I 
know it lasted a couple of years, but they kept changing the time/night it 
was shown and it was on so sporadically that it is no wonder people couldn't 
get interested.

    The cop show with Miguel Ferrer (used to be on Twin Peaks).  The
    show wasn't that good but I will watch anything with Miguel Ferrer
    in it, even if it is bad.
