Watched it last night, it wasn't bad. Is this supposed to be on
    every Wednesday night?

| | It was o.k. and yes it is supposed to be aired every Wed.

    comments behind ff for timeshifters.

Well the murder in the first episode sure was a kicker to start things
    off.

Loved what they did to the pompous photographer Josh whatever....though
what does Julie expect when she throws herself at him, atthe book
signing, and at his studio etc...Supposedly she 'knows the ropes' yet
she voluntarily submitted herself to him. He never promised her
anything except a few photos...she should know better.

Anyway.... Linda's lips (lipstick) looked a litle less harsh then they
    did in the Melrose episodes.

Oh and one thing (of several) that bothered me...if Terrie made sooooo
much money then why was she sharing a beachhouse with 3 other people?

| | Highlights after spoiler:

Linda tells Eric that she went into David's office at one point and saw
Hillary fighting with the dead model (Terry?). Eric tells her not to
    tell the cops.

David convinces a photographer to give Sarah the catalog cover. Eric
overhears. Later he threatens to give Linda's story to the cops unless
Linda gets the cover. So he does. Hillary confronts David about this,
saying he's made a mistake, and he gets angry. She also warns him to
keep things strictly business with Sarah.

The detective returns to see Hillary and makes it clear she's a
suspect. He asks her about the significance of a key in a jewelry box.

The older sister flashes back to fighting with the dead model on the
balcony over the key. She goes to see the detective and switches the
key when he's called away. She visits a man (I have no idea what his
name was, someone close to the dead model) and reveals him she had a
baby when she was 17. She gave it up for adoption and was told it died
a few weeks later. Her sister told her that the baby was still alive.
She then mentions that her sister kept some family papers in a safe
deposit box, and he tells her the bank. The key in the jewel box opens
the safe deposit box, which has a dossier on the kid. She locates the
father, who owns a luxury car dealership, and he hires her to be their
model in an upcoming campaign. She hears him arrange a business dinner
and shows up. He thinks she's trying to come onto her, and fires her.

Grocery shopping, Hillary bumps into the detective. Out in the parking
lot, he kisses her, to both their astonishment, and then leaves. David
meets Sarah on the beach and she kisses him. Hillary visits Sarah and
tells her to keep things strictly business with David. In the morning,
Sarah tells David she's not ready to get involved.

Julie goes to see an adman about a jewelry campaign; she had been
runner up to the dead model, but now they've omitted her because of her
performance at the Paris show. She offers whatever the guy wants if
he'll give her a recommendation. He requests that she sleep with him.
Julie pulls out a tape recorder and renegotiates -- recommend me or
I'll play this for your clients. He gives in.

I think that pretty much covers it.

I think it's Terry's sister. (too easy?)
I think the person who shot Hillary's son was the sister, too (she was drinking
vodka and lurking in the office when he came to check the pictures). Too easy
again??? I *don't* think it's the guy Hillary's son called on the phone and
told to get over to the office right away. (sorry I don't know all their
character names).
Watch, I bet it will end up to be Cassidy Rae's character :-) :-) :-)

I think last night's show dropped several hints pointing to Hillary's
    secretary.

    - She want's Terrie's boyfriend - the photographer, who wants Sarah
    - She recognized the death threat letter
    - She was in Hillary's (?) office late at night

She may not have planned it but just took advantage of the situation -
Terrie being drunk fighting with everybody on the balcony.

So, I'll vote for this character.

    ...Rania

I only watched one episode of this show, the one where the opening
scene had a body falling out of the casket! No thanks! I thought Lind
Grey stunk on Dallas, she's even worse on this show.

Nope! Just can't get into this one!

    90210 and MP hurry back!

I think the killer is the secretary. JMHO but she is sort of weird
and has a cruch on the photographer dude.

Are they really going to make the secretary have a split personality,
    or what?

I'm pretty sucked into the show, but I'd take Melrose over Models any
    day!

Does anyone else have any comments about the show last night?

| | Last night's episode was one of the cheesiest bits I've ever seen.

And what about David kissing that blonde girl (forgot name) who,
just two weeks ago, broke up his pending marriage? I think Linda Gray
is the only thing saving the show.

The storyline with Eric and Linda is getting old too!!

    Any thoughts???

No, it just went off the air for three weeks to open the timeslot for
assorted other stuff. It should be back on, I think, Sept 7, if not
    then definitely the 14th.

Personally, I wish they stuck to the same line up as last year. I
liked having 90210 on followed by Melrose Place. I can't stand Models
Inc. I watched one episode and couldn't even find my self giving the
show the benefit of the doubt to watch a second episode. I guess I'll
have to try to remember to set my VCR on Monday nights to get Melrose.
I wonder if Monday night football on FOX is going to interfere a lot
    with the airing of MP?

    Serena

Who wishes they left things the way they were.
