It is official, Cagney and Lacey is reuiniting for 2 two-hour movies.
They are beginning production next month. The movies as said in
the herald, are being referred to amusingly as Cagney & Lacey: The
    Menopause Years.

YIPPEEEEEE!!!! I am psyched. This was my favorite show, and I
have about 105 shows out of 125 that they did on tape. I knew this
was in the works once I had gotten the Viewers Voice newsletter, and
it was also in the newsletter from Sharon Gless's fan club.

    I can't wait!!

Oh by the way CBS was quoted as saying "Losing the NFL was one thing,
but there's no way `Cagney & Lacey' will appear on another Newtork!"
I am surprised they said that after they gave Barney Rosenzweig
(Producer of C&L) such a hard time over the years, and also Gless's
    Trials of Rosie O'Niell.

| While channel surfing recently, I happened upon the pilot for this
show- a made for tv movie.
I was surprised to see Loretta Swit, not Sharon Gless, as Cagney.
Why didn't "Hot Lips" do the series?

| So.... what did you think of it?

I liked it. It was fun to see the characters again. Plot line was ok,
rather predictable (but then, what isn't). I could really sympathize
with Mary Beth trying to pass the physical!

Didn't feel like starting a "Lou Grant" note, since I've never
followed the show, so I'll put it here.

Caught Tyne Daly in a guest appearance this morning on A&E as
I was setting up the VCR to tape today's "Columbo" episode.
