    Against the Grain:

This show is set in Texas (big football country) a insurance sales
person (Ed) used to go to school in the town he sells insurnace.
Ed, didn't get much of an Education..he was passed due to being
    the star-QB

The coach at the time now gets fired due to sleeping w/ students.
Ed wants the job and he wants to be a good coach and teacher and
have this students LEARN as well as play.

Ed gets the job and he gives his wife the insurance biz! (she was
just a home-maker before) they have a hard time balacing there
new roles (this was all very well done)

Ed was mocked and not belived and his wife had trouble getting the
clients due to her being a woman..but they both proved them selves

The show is alot about football w/ a good twist of it realiting to
real-life issues.. I'm no football fan by any means (I HATE IT)
but the show has great messages.

    It's on Fridaynights at 8:00pm channel 4 (I think) .. it's on
    this Friday (it's last air-date)

| | Yes, I too found this show enjoyable. It had a good dose of positive
values, maybe that's what did it in.
