dolores, this file can do with a bit more wisdom. particularly
the integrating, community building type of wisdom which women
so often have to offer.
dolores, please share your thoughts with us a bit more often.
this file needs your input.

| | andreas,

I am deeply touched by your invitation.
    Thank you.

Yes, I will note when I can make the time.
But, I think it only fair to read all replies
before answering-- a belief that is sometimes
overwhelming and that limits me further.

I am facing several Digital deadlines now.
Because I work only 30 hours (while
completing an grad internship), my time is
    limited.

My perspective and experience comes from
    being a committed Catholic Christian---too
liberal to many Catholics and too Catholic
    to many fundamentalists.

it may seem ironical, but over here in the old world the american
roman catholics bishops have a formidable reputation for being amongst
the most progressive amongst the catholic bishops.
european catholic bishops also like to rely on their colleagues
across the pond to put some pressure on the vatican for more active
involvement of women in the church!
hencer, an american conservative catholic is probably a long shot off
an italian conservative catholic. [i know you hate to hear this joe,
it's not *all* the same, but c'est la vie! :-) ]

| | I think we should christen Andreas Gutzwiller with a new name; the
name "Barnabas," which means "one who encourages."

| | Actually I have had a change of heart. We have a Barney CD and the
    kids watch it every morning.

I never really disliked him but there have been times when I wondered
why he missed his Ritalin dose!

| | You just reminded me of the Reagan/Mondale debate. When Reagan was
asked if age would be a factor in handling the presidency, his reply
was, "The youth of my opponent should not be considered!" or something
to that effect. That was humerous!
