| | My sister has asked me if I knew the answers to some Disney trivia questions.
I thought I could help her, however living in Florida only an hour drive from
Disneyworld hasn't made me even the slightest bit knowledgeable on the subject.
I tried searching this notes file for some of the answers, but figured my best
bet was to ask all the Disney experts that participate in the conference. So
here goes:
1. Who is the mother of Pluto's puppies in Pluto's Quin-puplets?
Fifi, Felicia, Persephone, Lulu, Saline or Monica?
2. In the movie Aristocats, Uncle Waldo is:
	a Goose, a Horse, a Raccoon, a Mouse, a Cat or a Dog?
3. Mickey's first speaking role was in:
Mickey's Review, The Picnic, The Opry House, The Barn Dance,
	Karnival Kid, or Plane Crazy?
4. The Disney family is originally from:
Austrailia, France, England, Germany, Spain or New Zealand?
5. When was the Mickey Mouse cartoon Jungle Rhythm first released?
	1926, 1929, 1932, 1933, 1936 or 1938?
I'm not sure exactly why she needs these answers, but appreciate any help that
you can provide.
Thanks!

    1) Which one of the following characters does Kaa try to hypnotize in
    Disney's "Jungle Book"?
The answer should have been Sher (sp) Khan and not Mowgli.
Kaa hypnotizes mowgli while in the tree but when he "tries"
to hypnotize Khan, Khan smacks Kaa on the head and says
"I've no time for this" (or words to those effect).

| 500.111 | Article in the Newspaper | MROA::ODELL |  | Tue May 28 1996 11:56 | 20 |
| | Mike,

I think I remember you. Do you have two girls? I remember my son
borrowing a bicycle from you while we were at your camp site.

BTW, I saw an article in the paper this weekend about people using the
Net to get answers to their McDonald's trivia questions. The article
said that McDonald's didn't keep track of how many free burgers, fries,
and drinks they had given away due to the contest, but believed it to
be more than they originally anticipated. Of course, the 17 year old
kid that won the grand prize (I believe it was cash), didn't get his
answer from the Net, according to the report, all of his answers would
have been correct making him an automatic winner.

Anyway, I got my answers here, but McDonald's didn't lose out. I went
to use the coupons yesterday and I noticed they had expired earlier
    this month.

    Jeanne

| | Yes that's me and I remember your son Steve borrowing one of my daughter's
bike. Your son also had a buddy along with him that was about twice the size
of your son. Maybe we'll see you up there around the 4th of July?

| | >McDonald's didn't lose out.

Of course not! Food promotions are a way of life! I went to 2 hockey
games last season and on the back of both tickets was a coupon for a
free large sandwich. Earlier this month, the tray placemats had
coupons for the new 'arch' burger. McD's builds this into the budget.

I'll bet Disney is more aware of the net and maybe even lent a hand to
    the trivia site. Guerilla marketing?

    Mark
