| 409.1 | put dog in kennel | NPSS::BADGER | One Happy camper ;-) | Fri Mar 11 1994 11:55 | 14 |
| | Its one campground that its a pleasure that one does not have to worry
    about the kids bringing back into the camper the 'donations' left
    behind by a camper who wanted to share his pet with the world.

    that said, our bird enjoyed WDW just fine in our camper. Had he been a
    dog, he would have been in the proper place, the kennel.
    If I had heard a dog in the CG, certainly I would have reported such
    occurance. Dogs are just great, its only some thoughtless owners.

    there is also a safety concern. If electricily is lost to the camper,
    the temperature can go up high and endanger the dog's life.
    just my fellings.

| | I believe the policy is that you *must* put the dog in a kennel.

    I have gone by the kennel at FW daily when down there, but have never
    kept a pet there nor gone inside. It looks nice is conveniently
    located and I see most owners going to the kennel in the
    morning/evening to visit with their pets and bring them for a walk.

| 409.3 | It was Walt's idea | IVOSS1::GREEN_RI | God has no grandchildren | Mon Mar 14 1994 10:19 | 6 |

    I remeber reading somewhere that the kennel at Disneyland was Walt's
    idea. He couldn't bear the thought of irresponsible people leaving
    their pets in the car while they enjoyed Disneyland.

| 409.7 | FT WILDERNESS KENNELS ARE GREAT | NEST::DUHAMEL |  | Tue Apr 05 1994 08:25 | 16 |
| | THE KENNELS AT FT. WILDERNESS HAVE TO BE THE BEST THAT I HAVE EVER
    SEEN. YOU WOULD NOT KNOW THAT YOU WALKED INTO A KENNEL. THEY ARE
    CLEAN AND EVERY TIME YOU TAKE YOUR DOG OUT FOR A WALK THE ARE IN THE
    CAGE CLEANING IT AGAIN. THEY PUT A SAMLL TOWEL DOWN FOR YOUR DOG TO
    LAY ON .
    THE PEOPLE WHO WORK IN THERE ARE GREAT ALSO. THERE IS A LADY WHO HAS
    BEEN THERE FOR YEARS BY THE NAME OF RITA. IF YOU ARE LUCKY ENOUGH FOR
    HER TO CARE FOR YOUR DOG YOU HAVE IT MADE. SHE IS WONDERFUL!!!!!

    I HAVE BEEN LEAVING MY DOGS THERE FOR 10 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER EVER HAD
    A PROBLEM. YOU CAN EITHER BRING YOUR OWN FOOD OR HAVE THEM FEED YOUR
    DOG THEIRS. THEY HAVE COME AND GET IT DOG FOOD. THEY WILL FEED THE
    DOGS ONCE A DAY EITHER MORNING OR NIGHT IT IS YOUR CHOICE.
