| | Can't really comment on the basenote, but at the MGM tour in
Orlando they show the making of a New York Lottery commercial
that they shot at MGM starring Bette. The tour shows how they
did the stunts and camera shots.

| | I believe her contract is with Touchstone Pictures so sending a letter
to her in care of (c/o) Touchstone Pictures would probably do the
trick. Call Information for a number and get the address from the
    receptionist.

I wonder if this change occured recently? The 13 page interview I read
was specific in saying that in 1986 (interview written in 1992) Disney
signed a contract with her that was still active in 1992. I wonder?
This probably sounds stupid, but what state and city is Touchstone
Pictures in? New York or Calif. probably?

    Thanks for the responses.

| | Karen, I don't have an address (or even general location) for
Touchstone, but Touchstone is a Disney studio. There may be a note in
here on Touchstone already. Midler's contract was to make Touchstone
    movies for Disney, I believe.

One Touchstone picture that Midler was supposed to be in was "Sister
Act," but Whoopi Goldberg got the job because Bette wasn't available.

| | Gee thanks for the info Susan. I have been so interested in alot that
she is doing, as she is so talented. And what better place to discuss
questions and stuff but in the notes, where everyone can give yo a tid
    bit here and there.
Too bad about Sister Act she would have been funny...

I did not know Touchstone had anything to do with Disney, now it makes
    sense.

    Thanks,
    Karen
