    I've actually made a booking - direct with Euro_Disney , for a room in
    one of their hotels for the Weekend of 18th. - 19th. April 1992.
    
    I have only seen a couple of brochures but in both cases, the cost's 
    were seemingly a lot more than arranging our own travel. The other
    advantage seems to be that they are not yet collecting deposits unlike
    some of the tour Companies who want a good % of cash upfront and
    certainly all of it before departure. Disney will be asking for 1
    night's hotel charge upfront in the autumn. ( Although they have written
    confirming the booking, they still haven't started asking for money.)
    
    I think you would still be in time to book some cheap flights to Paris
    use Air-Miles :-) Certainly the packages where you take your own car
    seemed silly , cheaper to arrange the Ferry yourself.

    Thanks.  I've booked up the hotel in Disney.  Now to decide what days
    to spend in the resort and whether I should go to Buffalo Bill's Wild
    West show.

    Well since  you'll  be  there  so  close to the Parks Grand opening and
    they'll be no historical data to go by, you'll be on your on on this.
    
    But if I was going, I would be in the park as many days I could afford,
    and would go to see Buffalo Bill's Wild West SHow, base on seeing other
    Disney Dinner Shows at WDW.  Just be forwarned that Euro-Disney will be
    working out the Bugs of grand opening, but if you keep this in mind you
    should enjoy.

Does anyone know what sort of tickets I need to get into Euro-disney if I'm
staying in a resort hotel?  Do I need one of those commemorative passport 
thingies or do I just get the tickets when I arrive?

    Generally if your staying in a resort hotel entrance to the theme park
    is included but you'd better check to be sure. If you're just going to
    turn up Disney say that only ticket holders are guaranteed entry i.e.
    they may stop selling tickets at the gate if they get full.
    
    I've gone for the commemorative passports as I'm not staying there,
    just going for 1 day on the way to the Atlantic coast.

    If Euro-Disney  is  anything like WDW or DL, then the room rate doesn't
    include admission to the  park,  and  Admission is only included in the
    Vacation Plans.
    
    I'l be going to WDW  in  April and will be staying at Port Orleans, not
    doing the plan and will be buying admission seperately. 
    
    yes go for the COmmemorative Passport,  you'll probably have to show it
    at the gate, they'll tear of a  section  and issue a real passport, and
    the commemorative portion will serve as a sovenir.    Depending  if you
    are doing exchange rate to purchase the ticket you  might save some $'s
    rather than waiting till you go.

    I think Disney have set up the Euro operation differently to WDW or DL.
    The hotels are part of the park, e.g. you go under the Disneyland Hotel
    to get into the theme park. In the brochure I have the Davy Crockett
    camp site has a minimum stay of three nights which includes 2 day
    passes to the park. I'll have a look tonight when I get home and put
    something in next week.
    
    BTW My Euro-Disneyland Passeport Commemoratifs arrived in this mornings
    mail. They have a picture of Mickey as the Sorcerer's Apprentice with a
    painting of the Sleeping Beauty's Castle in the centre of an island.
    The tear off voucher is in French with an English translation on the
    reverse. This is exchangeable for a one day ticket at any main gate
    entrance.

    I've checked in a couple of brochures, Paris Travel Service and Cresta.
    Both offer tours to Euro-Disney and Unlimited Entrance to the theme
    park is included for anyone staying at the Disney Hotels. At hotels
    outside the park they include 2 day passes. Hotel guests also get a
    card which enables them to charge purchases to there room anywhere on
    the site except in the theme park.

    Uh Richard,  I think were talking the same thing, Room Rates at WDW and
    DL doesn't include  admission  to  parks,  you  get  that  buy buying a
    vacation plan (tour) of some sort.
    
    You mention tours from  2 non-Disney tour companies, which I believe is
    most likely vacation plans that includes the  admission.    In  the  US
    various  tour  companies  have tours, that include admission to  WDW/DL
    just like the MKC Vacation plans include admission.
    
    Does the tour package say that it's part of the room  rate or just part
    of the package if staying on site?  Until I see someone  quote a Disney
    source on  Euro-Disney  room  rates,  and it specifies that it includes
    admission  then  I'll   beleive  Disney  is  doing  it  differently  in
    Euro-Disney.

Does anyone know if DEC employees get discount on tickets for Eurodisney.

I know we get them for Disney in Florida?  Any ideas who to speak to?

    I mailed Disney in the States and they wrote back telling me that my 
    club card was valid at EuroDisney.

    is_ visiting_ EuroDisney_ in_ June_ by_ car_ from_ England.

One note of caution that I have seen in the press. Get your entry 
tickets before travelling. You are not guaranteed entrance if you just 
turn up at the gate. Now this may just be hype but I'd rather be safe 
than sorry, I got mine pre-opening. We'll be there in July.

    What?   is  EUro-Disney  doing  something  diferent?    like dating the
    tickets for dates of admission? 
    
    At WDW you aren't garaunteed admission either, but you can  always  buy
    tickets  ;^).    Actually  it  is possible to be denied admission  when
    crowds are to large, but you will be allowed in if you are a WDW resort
    guest.  I would  think  Euro-Disney Resort Guests would never be denied
    admission but non resort quest  could  wether  or not they bought their
    tickets in advance.

    The only advantage I'm aware of  in buying your tickets early is to not
    have to wait in long lines at the park on the day you go.

I think they are expecting big crowds so maybe that's what it's 
about.  A lot of UK travel firms are offering trips to Euro-Disney but 
don't include the entrance ticket in the deal. If you stay at the 
Disney hotels or pre-purchase your tickets you'll be OK.
