| Okay gang. You're all invited to my WDW/Hoop-Dee-Doo Birthday Party.
Today sometime I'll be booking HDD for Sunday night July, 12th, 1992
for 5 P.M.
If you're planning to be in WDW on that day and you wanted to do HDD
and you want to meet your fellow noters then think about booking for
that time and that day.
My kids wanted to do HDD again but my wife was lukewarm....but I'll
tell her this could be my birthday gift.
No need to bring gifts but be sure to practice your singing 'cause I
want a hoop 'n' hollering crowd there.

| It's sort of scary to see that this topic has not had an entry since my
note back in April '92.
What's also frightening is that there are a lot less of us in here than
there were one, two, or three years ago.
With the onslaught of some heavy-duty downsizing coming in June and the
unsureness as to what may happen to any of us I'd like the make the
following pact with everyone in here.
This pact relates to the big HDD Birthday Bash of 1992. That was so
much fun that I'd like to pack that entire Pioneer Hall with all the
Disneyholics in here.
So here's the deal
Regardless of where I am working or living in July 1997 I plan to be in
Orlando that month (most likely July 6-19) to attend the 25th
Anniversary splendor that will take place from 10/1/96 to 10/1/97.
Take note that I will also be attending the 5:30 Hoop-Dee-Doo Review Show
on my 47th birthday, July 12th.
If you are planning a WDW trip that July why not meet me there one hour
before the show on the porch outside Crockett's Tavern? Some of us may
still be working for DEC, others may be even working for Disney ;*)
Either way I think we all share the same ideals when it comes to the
Disney mystique and it would be a shame to let any downsizing effort
break the bond that we've established over the years.
So if you're planning a July '97 trip, and you'd like to join in some
fun and maybe even see yer old moderator do his "Indian Brave" routine
(ya never know) plan on joining me on Crockett's Tavern Porch around 4:30
on Saturday night, July 12th, 1997.
It'll be an HDD Birthday Bash to remember. Please no gifts. One
Brazillian tour shirt is enough.
BTE, I don't know where I'll be staying in 1997. I have to assume that the
CBR is at the top of the list because my family loves the place. The
other two possibilities are The Vacation Club and The All-Star Sports
Resorts. You can be sure that I'll be on the property.
See you in 1515 days.
Those noters who really feel they will try and make it should reply to
this note.

| Well, I just read Ken Steinhardt's note about Sunset Boulevard in MGM
not opening until the Fall of '94 and I'm a little bummed but there's
one thing keeping me going...
The knowledge that I will experience the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
first-hand alongside our intrepid Birthday Boy in the Summer of '97...
That's right, Mike, sign us up for the HDD Birthday Bash of 1997!!
And yes, if Jim Pappas can get you on Splash Mountain, I figure that in
four years' time I can convince you to ride the Tower of Terror. :-)

Count me in. Also too remote to attend New England bashes, but have
been able to meet other DECos (I HATE the word DECies) on two previous

flight to May 21st means his visit coincides exactly with mine.
Mike, I would love to meet up with you. We are staying at the Comfort

I'd love to go down and share a Dole Whip but I'm not going May 21st.
My plans are for July. If everything goes according to plan I will be
driving down and arriving in Orlando July 9th and staying until July
25th. The only possible change in my plans I am thinking about right
now is to knock off 2 days and stay for just 14 days. That decision
will come in late May/early June.
Hmmm, obviously you want me to use my influence to get you in one of
those Brazillian Tour Groups.
Now if you change your plans to July.....

| You should specify the date you will be there. My family
will be staying just outside Disney most of the School vacation week.
Arrive Fri. 15 April, leave Fri. 22 April. We will probably go to
MGM one day and MK another since we have been there before a number
of times. Maybe another day possible, we mainly want to relax, swim,
water ski, jet ski etc. at our resort. Since Easter is at beginning
of April we are hoping for reasonable crowds. Last year we hit the
Easter 2 week window and it was not pleasant at all.

5:30 Hoop Dee Doo show on July 12th this year.
However it would be nice to have a Disney get together down there.

Doing a group get together sounds good to me. Maybe the Wilderness
Lodge "all you can eat". I can even smell it as I type.
