| 72.1 | got to start that tan of course | ATE012::CLAUDE | Claude G. Berube | Thu Apr 06 1989 09:14 | 12 |
| | Well, on my last 2 trip's we stayed at Disney, and they have a 4:00
checking time that they pretty much adhere too. You can pre-check in
and get you ID's etc and leave your luggage in storage if need be. So
on my last trip we arrived around 2:00 at the Disney Inn, did the
pre-check in, put the bags in storage and headed for the pool/bar to
relax from the flight for a few hours and start on that golden tan ;^),
around 4:15 we got the room key and quickly unpacked, went to the
Garden Gallery Restaurant at the Disney Inn for supper, then headed in
to the MK, to catch a few rides, the Electric Light parade and the
fireworks, since they wore open till midnight.

I didn't know that they had a pre-check in at the Disney Resorts.
I wouldn't know because I have never stayed there. Do you know
what time you can pre-check in??? I know that check-in time
at the Contemporary is 3:00 - so if we wanted to hit the park
first thing in the morning, we could pre-check into the Contemp.
head for the MK and then go back to the hotel at 3:00 for
    	check-in????

| | Laura,

Pre-Check in is for same day arrivals, so if you arrived around 10 in
the morning you can precheck in, and if for say your on the World
Vacation plan which is like 4 night 5 days use etc. head into the
parks and start making use of the plan.

    	Claude,

Thanks for the quick response!! We are not on the World Vacation
Plan, but we did get the 4 day commemorative passes and we can't
    	wait to start using them!!!

| | Laura,

Since you have the 4 day pass, get there early on arrival, to make the
most of it, if you can. Otherwise you might want to do something else
so as to not waste a day on the pass, like head over to River COuntry
    or something.

| | Hell no! That was just theoretical.

I think when I get down there, I'm gonna head straight for the Mexico
pavilian and grab a burrito and then go hop on the Universe of Energy!

| | I go straight to WDW Village and grab a drink on the Empress Lily
in the Baton Rogue Lounge. I listen to the entertainment for an
hour or so and then walk around the shops. This atmosphere could
put anyone in the Disney spirit. We usually go to bed early so
we can start the next day full day in the Magic Kingdom.

| | We always try to arrive in Orlando by 10:00 or 11:00am. Then we
pre-check in, get our tix and it's off to the Magic Kingdom!
Seems I never get around to unpacking till the next morning.
