| 505.1 | good chance for upgrade | 29923::CULLISON |  | Mon Aug 01 1994 12:06 | 11 |
| | I assume the J is near lowest category. Typically these categories
sell out ahead so when you get a quarantee with possible upgrade then
typically the chances of upgrade are very high. The only possible
disadvantage is sometimes higher level rooms may not be ideal. YOu
might get a room in a busier area. But generally your chances are
very good. We did it years agos and our upgrade went from a N to
F, A being best. The F had an excellent location and outside cabin.

    		good luck, Harold

| | I went on my honymoon on the Royal Majesty this last June and I thought the cruise was GREAT. The service, food
and boat was just wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again in a minute.
				Enjoy,
				Bart Lasky
PS: When you get to Burmuda, rent a Moped and check out the beaches!!

| 505.3 | Bermuda in October | STOWOA::MCKEOWN |  | Wed Sep 07 1994 13:06 | 5 |
| | I am thinking of taking this Boston-Bermuda cruise in late October, in
fact the last one they make. Has anybody been cruising this late this
far North? Is it warm enough in Bermuda to go swimming?

    Thanks for the info.

| | This is a little late for the last reply, but....

My boyfriend and I went on the Royal Majesty out of Boston to Bermuda
on October 23rd. When we left Boston Harbour it had started to rain.
We had some rough seas that night and there was a long line at the
doctors office for a shot. When we docked in Bermuda it was raining
but warm. We got a moped and did some exploring. I had been there
nine years before and was amazed that everything looked the way I had
remembered. We looked up some family friends and dropped in on them.
The next day was BEAUTIFUL. We hooked up with another couple that we
had met at dinner and hit the beaches and went horseback riding. On the
way back from horseback riding we stopped at the Swizzle Inn. It was a
great day. That night we went into O'Malley's Pub, right there at the
dock and partied for awhile. After the midnight buffet the place was
bursting at the seams with the ships crew. We partied a bit with our
waiter and then we turned in knowing that we only had 1/2 a day left in
port. We got up a few hours later to another gorgeous sun filled day
and went into Hamilton to pick up souvenirs and Warwick Beach. Warwick
Beach is nice and secluded and we had the beach to ourselves. Then it
was the depressing ride back to St. George to turn in the mopeds and
bid the island farewell. We agreed that Bermuda is a place you want to
spend more that two days at. So we are planning on flying back and
    spending a week.

We had booked the cheapest cabin and it was great. We had both been on
a cruise before -- me with Carnival and I think he'd been on the big
red boat. We were both pleased with the size of the cabin, especially
    the bathroom.

We had a great time and on the way back it was announced that Royal
Majesty has committed to do the Boston-Bermuda run for the next nine
    years.

    Roberta
