How long will you be in Nova Scotia? Where will the ship dock in
N.S.? My wife and I were there a few years ago. We drove to Portland
Maine and took the overnight ferry to Yarmouth N.S. Then we drove
up the bay side to Halifax and back down the Atlantic side to Yarmouth.
It was a great trip. There are lots of historical places to visit,
and the scenery is beautiful.
We will be driving up to New Brunswick the last week of June to
visit my wife's cousin. I am hoping to get back to N.S to see the
Northern half.

| 129.3 | Louisbourg Fortress | GRANPA::JLISTON | Jim Liston | Wed Jul 05 1989 16:36 | 11 |
Rosemary, we have just returned from Nova Scotia. While in Sydney
we saw the Bermuda Star docked in the harbor. We were told that
the reason the ship comes to Sydney is to tour the Louisbourg Fortress.
We visited the Fortress and found it very interesting and enjoyable.
Be prepared to do a lot of walking it is a large area. The people
there are French settlers and soldiers who are living in the year 1744.
If you would like more information, give me a call at 337 4102.
