502.0. "NTP flags for MIB on CISCO routers?" by KERNEL::VERNOND () Mon Mar 17 1997 16:07
    Hi,

    Could someone tell me if it is possible to set up a SNMP trap to alarm
    NETVIEW when a CISCO router goes into a free running state in NTP?

    Background:
    ==========

    Versions:
    		NETVIEW V4.1 rev 55 (on Digital Unix V3.2-148, AXP)
    		CISCO 7000 s/w V10.3

    The customer has four CISCO 7000 that are stratum level 1. They are
    connected to a satellite dish that gets a time signal from an atomic
    clock. Specifically the customer would like to set a trap on a MIB
    attribute on the CISCO's, but could not find a relevant one on the
    CISCO private MIB.

    Thanks,

    Dave Vernon,
