Today's Boston Globe has a front-page article about living on a golf
course. I live on a golf course and know how nice it is to play
anytime, no greens fees, no appointments, just fun. The article says
that even people who don't play or don't play regularly love to live
there for the views, the ambiance, and the guarantee of value. After
all, no WalMart or CostCo is going to be built in the back yard.
My home is at BedfordShire, in Bedford, MA, the site of the old Bedford
Country Club. The golf course fees are included in a the modest condo
fee ($277 -- and the same for next year -- no increase in sight) and
the course is open only to residents and their guests -- not to the
public.
My home is for sale -- see note 2027, and available to be seen. Call
me at home to arrange to see it and have a tour of the golf course by
golf cart, or send me mail.
