| | I don't think you have a bad one here. Any of the Pointe's are nice,
as is the Buttes. I would steer away from McCormick Ranch, only
because it is the farther away from the action.

    Hello,

You should pick up a copy of the May Golf Digest. It has the best
courses of each State. Arizona has approx. 20 courses listed as the
best (1-20). At least 8 of the 20 are within a 20-30 mile radius of
Phoenix. A good majority are public and many courses will send you a
score card and other literature if you ask for it. I will be playing
The Pointe at South Mountain in January my brother just built a new
    	house on the Tenth Tee.

    	Have fun!

| | We were just out in Phoenix for a golf vacation and had a wonderful time. The
princess is truly a beautiful resort (great restaurants and location) and I have
stayed at Squaw Peak Pointe which was very nice.
End of May can be very very warm--so be prepared for temps in the upper 90s.
Have a great time!

| | It's been many years, but the Pointe would top my list!

| | I'm a little late replying to this, but I don't get a chance at looking
at the notes file very often now. Its been a few years, but the Pointe
Tapateio (sp??) is the best Pointe IMHO. If my memory is correct, it has
a very chanllenging course right there.
