| Most major golf companies have come out with a forged cavity back
(perimeter weighted) club. Tom Watson does an ad for the Ram version
and I've been seeing more and more of them in component catalogs as
well.

I'd like to know more about the component catalogs that offer a forged
cavity back iron head. I've only seen "soft cast" as an option. I'd be
interested in seeing how expensive they are.
Don't be fooled in thinking soft cast is a forging. Forging is a far
cry from casting and generally in the $25/head range.

Golfworks offers a cavity backed, forged head, toe & heel
weighted. Its called the "techni-forge", however, they have
been delayed until the end of July for whatever reasons. I
was intending to order these 2-9, at $29.95 per head, tack on a
decent shaft and nice grip it came to $31.80 ($254.00) per club
constructed.

Also the Roby-Toski line has forged perimeter weighted heads. I tried
to get a distributorship when Iwas in Vermont, but a friend of mine got there
first.
