| | Might you be refering to the George Wright Golf course tel 617-361-8313. They
do take tee times. Also I understand Franklin Park has opened up nine holes
and it is appreciated by the locals. George Wright is a well designed course.

| | You should try Shaker Hills in Harvard(call before you leave for tee
    times).
Also, you should enjoy Stowe North or Stowe South courses.
Crumpim Fox is quite a drive from Boston!
Wauchusettes is a Donald Ross that is open to tee times.
    Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| | Thanks for the reply, I'm very fond of Donald Ross designs and will
make a point of trying Wauchsettes. I have played both the Stow courses
    and enjoyed them.

    Thanks

| | Ken,

George Wright in Hyde Park is a Donald Ross course (Don't miss it)along with
Wachusett(West Boylston) and Sandy Burr in Wayland. I would rate them (IMHO)
GW(1), Wachusett(2), and Sandy Burr a distant (3). These are all public
    courses.

| | I don't recommend Sandy Burr as it is dangerous due to the course management,
although, the initial Ross layout was OK given the lack of space.
