| | I believe it's called Mt. Washington Inn at Hale's Location. I walked
around the hotel and grounds last winter and it looked very nice. The
view was magnificient and worth the stay. The course is new and it
looked tight from what I could see of a couple of holes. I want to try
it later this summer. The hotel has about 150 rooms and they had a
winter/sprint rate of $89/99 per room (not golf) and I suppose they
have packages. It's a very nice hotel. Don't confuse it with the Mt.
Washington Hotel at Bretton Woods as they are different hotels. BTW, I
may have called the Inn the Hotel and vica-versa. I did look over the
Sunday brunch, and while it was not too expensive ($10) it didn't look
real interesting. But it was worth the $10.

    Have a nice time.

| | Well I played Hale's location this past weekend, and I thought it
was pretty nice. A few of the fairways were a little burnt, but the
pro said it was like that for the first month of last year. Tees and
greens were in very good shape. Not a long course, but kind of tight.
I was the only person on the whole course on sat. Greenfees for 9 holes
were $16 weekdays, $19 weekends and $13 after 3p.m. everyday. My driver
was also on vacation, resulting in a couple of ugly rounds of 44-45.
The hotel (The white mountain hotel & resort) was beautiful. It had
a cliff behind it about 700 feet high ( I'm terrible at guessing
heights, but it was high) and there were people there climbing it all
weekend. The restaurant had a beautiful panoramic view of the
mountains and was very classy. They had a great seafood buffet on fri.
night for $12 and a nice lounge. I was impressed. Especially since the
room only cost us $49 a night.
I would recommend both the golf course and hotel.
